Fundamentals, fades and tapers, state exam practice.
Roscoe started the academy after a career behind a chair in Jacksonville, and he still teaches the opening weeks of every class: how to stand, how to hold the clippers, how to look at the way a head of hair grows before the first pass.
He also runs the exam practice. Near the end of each track he sits with every student and goes through the written practice tests and the timed skills one at a time.

Who will teach me in the first weeks?
Roscoe teaches the opening weeks of every class, so you start with the same instructor whichever track you choose.
Does he run the exam practice?
Yes. He takes every student through the practice written tests and the timed run-throughs of the skills before the exam.
Can I meet him before I apply?
Book a campus tour and ask for him. He walks new students through the floor when he is in the building.
