How tuition works
This site prints no tuition figure. The office gives you yours in writing before you enroll, and this is what sets it.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on which track you choose and how many hours the program needs on that schedule, plus the kit.
The track: full-time days or part-time evenings and Saturday
The program hours the state requires
The kit
The start date you choose
The admissions visit
Every enrollment starts with a visit to the office. You walk the floor, meet an instructor and talk through the schedule, and the office writes out your tuition before you decide.
Deposits
A deposit holds your seat for a start date and goes toward your tuition. The office tells you the amount in writing at your visit.
How and when you pay
The office explains your payment options at the admissions visit and puts the schedule in your enrollment papers. You see every due date before you sign.
The kit and who buys it
The school chooses the kit and the office lists every item before you enroll. You will not be asked to buy tools you have not seen listed.
If you need to withdraw
Tell the office as early as you can. The school's written refund policy is in your enrollment papers, and the office walks you through it before you sign.
Tipping in the clinic
Clinic clients may tip the student who cut their hair, in cash at the chair. Tips are never expected and never part of tuition.
Get your tuition in writing
