Our policies
What to know before you enroll or book a clinic cut.
Booking and deposits
Clinic cuts are booked on the booking page or by phone, with no deposit. A seat in a program is held with a deposit that goes toward tuition, and the office gives you the amount in writing.
How the line works
Student clinic walk-ins sign the board by the door and are taken in the order they sign. Booked clients are seen at their time and the line waits for them. Waits vary; the board shows who is next. The line closes 30 minutes before the clinic does.
Canceling and running late
Tell us at least 3 hours ahead if you need to cancel or move a clinic time, by phone or on the booking page. We hold your chair for 10 minutes after your time; after that we offer it to the line.
If you miss an appointment
A missed clinic time takes a practice slot from a student. After a second one, we ask you to confirm by phone before we hold a time for you again.
Children and companions
The clinic cuts hair from age 8, and a parent stays in the room for a child's cut. One person waits with each client so the chairs stay open for the line.
Redos and refunds
Tell us within a week and we will look at it. An instructor checks the cut and a student fixes it with the instructor beside them.
Tipping
Tips go to the student who cut your hair. You can leave one in cash at the chair.
